Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Cite Hustle collects, how the service uses and shares it, how long it is retained, and what controls are available to account holders. Cite Hustle processes account, site, content, usage, integration, and billing-reference data to operate the service, and it does not sell personal information.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how Cite Hustle ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Service.

2. What information do we collect?

  • Account information: name, email address, password (hashed).
  • Site information: domains and CMS credentials you connect (encrypted at rest).
  • Generated content: keywords, topic clusters, articles created through the Service.
  • Usage data: log entries, IP address, browser, pages viewed.
  • Third-party data: Google Search Console data and DataForSEO keyword metrics, where you have authorized access.
  • Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store a customer reference but not full card numbers.

3. How do we use information?

  • To operate the Service: generate, schedule, and publish content on your behalf.
  • To send transactional emails (article ready, publish failed, billing receipts).
  • To improve the Service in aggregate.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the third-party providers required to deliver the Service: AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic), email delivery (Resend), payment processing (Stripe), error monitoring (Sentry), and the CMS you have connected. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention

We retain account and content data while your account is active. When you delete your account we immediately remove your name and email address, sign you out everywhere, revoke your API tokens, and disconnect the CMS and Search Console credentials you gave us. Your remaining content is erased within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, billing records).

6. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and encrypt CMS credentials and Google OAuth tokens at rest. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Account settings covers all four without contacting us: edit your profile, download a full JSON export of your account, and delete the account outright. For anything those controls do not cover, contact us at privacy [at] citehustle.com .

8. International transfers

Our service runs on infrastructure located in regions that may differ from yours. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of your information to those regions.

9. Changes

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
